![]() ![]() ![]() While Witcher 3 won't be receiving any more content Gwent and Thronebreaker have recently released on PC with console versions coming this December. That update was September 2016, with over two years having passed since. This surprised some players on Steam who noticed the update downloading as update 1.31 was supposed to be the final patch on PC and a hotfix for some text display issues and other smaller technical problems. If you install your mods once more the game should work, as we didn't change scripts and their relation to code. It's due to the fact that if Steam sees an update, it compares the files you have with the files on servers and overrides them if there's a difference. If you had mods installed it may happen that this update resulted in game not starting. We had to add Simplified Chinese strings file, update the executable and one of patch.bundle files for that. Hey, we've added support for Simplified Chinese. The update comes in at over 500 MB according to the Steam user SagnolTheGangster (nice) who posted to the general discussion board and got an official answer from Ćukasz Babiel, CDPR QA: CD Projekt Red rolled out a new patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt today, but unless you can understand Simplified Chinese you're not going to get much out of it. ![]()
